The Laboratory of Molecular Biotechnology and Genomics (LBMG) is part of the research and development laboratories of the FARVET group. The LBMG is being implemented with state-of-the-art equipment with a focus on the study of the most important pathogens in the poultry and swine industry. Through the use of molecular and biotechnological techniques, our mission is to generate new diagnostic methods, as well as to develop recombinant vaccines that help in the control of the main avian diseases.
