The Biochemistry laboratory is integrated into the research area, complementing the interdisciplinary relationship between the Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Cell Culture and Virology and Cellular and Molecular Immunology laboratories. The laboratory plans to develop new applications such as proteomics, for which it has sophisticated bioanalytical techniques.

In addition, as part of the quality control, the Biochemical Laboratory is in charge of performing the physical-chemical analysis of raw materials, solvents and inputs entering the company, as well as the analysis of drugs and biologicals during the manufacturing process and in the finished product, ensuring that our products meet the established quality parameters.

• Analysis of raw materials. Determination of purity, pH, density, viscosity.

• Drug and biological analysis. Determination of purity.

• Physical-chemical analysis of water. Determination of pH, chlorine, chlorides, carbonates, sulphates and nitrates.

• Total mycotoxin analysis by ELISA in inputs and poultry feed. Determination of total aflatoxins, ochratoxin, T-2/HT-2, zearalenone, DON and fumonisin.
